Itinerary

Day 1:

Day 2:

  • Begin your day by visiting the Dakshineswar Kali Temple, one of the most famous temples in Kolkata. It’s located on the banks of the Hooghly river and is dedicated to the Hindu goddess Kali.
  • From there, head to the Belur Math, a monastery and headquarters of the Ramakrishna Math and Mission, located on the opposite bank of the Hooghly river.
  • After that, visit the Howrah Bridge, an iconic landmark of Kolkata that spans the Hooghly river.

  • After that, head to the Mother House, the headquarters of the Missionaries of Charity, which was founded by Mother Teresa.
  • Next, visit the Victoria Memorial Hall, an iconic monument and museum that’s dedicated to Queen Victoria and the British Raj in India.
  • In the evening, take a cruise on the Hooghly river and enjoy the views of the city from the water.
